2-Step Account - Trading Rules

In addition to the account-specific objectives, all 2-Step traders must follow the applicable TradersYard trading rules.

Prohibited or restricted practices include:

  • Copy trading

  • Hedging across accounts

  • Arbitrage or latency exploitation

  • Martingale/grid strategies

  • Gambling behavior

  • News-trading abuse

  • VPN/VPS use

  • Other prohibited account or platform exploitation

Violations may lead to profit deductions, warnings, restrictions, or account termination.

Martingale Rule

After a losing streak, new positions must not exceed 2× the notional size of the largest losing trade in that streak.

Maximum Allowed Margin

A single trade must not consume more than 70% of the account balance as margin.

Inactivity Rule

At least one trade must be executed within every 30-day period.

Accounts inactive beyond this period may be permanently closed.

News Trading

News trading is not allowed on the Built for You 2-Step plan.

Trading is restricted from:

10 minutes before until 5 minutes after high-impact news.

Overnight Holding

Overnight holding is allowed.

Leverage

Leverage is available up to 1:75, depending on the instrument.
