Evaluation Rules for 1-Step Accounts

Profit Target

The 1-Step Evaluation has a profit target selected during account configuration.

To pass, you must:

  • Reach the required profit target

  • Meet your Minimum Profitable Days

  • Meet any selected consistency requirement

  • Stay within all drawdown limits

  • Follow all TradersYard trading rules

  • Close any required open positions before progression

There is no deadline for completing the evaluation.

Daily Drawdown

1-Step accounts use a Daily Drawdown.

The Daily Drawdown:

  • Is equity-based

  • Includes unrealized/open P&L

  • Resets every day at 00:00 UTC

  • Does not move upward or downward during the day

If your equity falls below 3% of your initial account balance, the account is breached.

EoD Maximum Drawdown

1-Step accounts also use an End-of-Day Maximum Drawdown.

The EoD Maximum Drawdown:

  • Does not reset daily

  • Can move upward as your account grows

  • Never moves downward

  • Is reviewed at 00:00 UTC

  • Eventually locks once its applicable ceiling is reached

If your End-of-Day (EOD) equity falls more than 5% below your initial balance, the account is breached.

Minimum Profitable Days

Your required number of Minimum Profitable Days is determined by the configuration selected at purchase.

The dashboard should display the exact requirement applicable to your account.

Consistency Rule

If your account uses the 40% Consistency Rule:

Best Day Profit ÷ Total Closed Profit × 100 must be 40% or less.

Only closed P&L is considered.

If you exceed 40%, the account does not automatically fail. You must continue trading until your total closed profit increases enough to bring the ratio back to 40% or below.

Example

Total Closed Profit: $10,000
Best Day Profit: $3,000

Consistency:

$3,000 ÷ $10,000 × 100 = 30%

The account satisfies the consistency requirement.
