1. Open the Challenge Configurator
Go to the TradersYard Challenges page and open the Build Your Yard configurator.
2. Choose Challenge Structure (1-Step vs 2-Step)
Select:
1-Step Challenge
2-Step Challenge
What this affects:
1-Step: Faster to get funded since there is only one phase to get on a Funded Account
2-Step: Requires passing two phases to get on a Funded Account
3. Choose Your Account Type
Select the type of challenge you want to build.
Example:
FX Challenge
Futures Challenge (coming soon)
4. Select Your Account Size
Choose the starting account balance you want to trade with.
Example: $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, $150,000
What this affects:
Larger accounts → higher profit potential
Also affects:
drawdown limits
max lot size
overall risk exposure
5. Adjust Profit Target
Set how much profit you need to pass the challenge.
What this affects:
Higher target → harder to pass, cheaper challenge
Lower target → easier to pass, usually higher price
6. Configure Drawdown Rules
Set:
Daily drawdown (FX only)
Maximum drawdown
What this affects:
Lower drawdown → safer but stricter
Higher drawdown → more flexibility but higher cost
Static vs trailing:
Static = fixed limit
Trailing = moves with your profit
7. Choose Consistency Rule
i) Options:
< 40%
None
Effect:
<40%: You must avoid making most profit in one day → promotes steady trading
None: No restriction → more freedom, but typically higher cost
ii) Choose Minimum Profitable Days
Options:
3 days
6 days
Effect:
3 days → faster completion
6 days → enforces consistency
8. Reward Split (Funded Stage)
(Displayed as funded condition)
Your profit is split in tiers:
First $300 → 100%
$300–$1,000 → 90%
Above $1,000 → 80%
This determines how much profit you keep after funding.
9. Choose Reward Frequency
Options:
15 days
30 days
Effect:
15 days → faster Rewards
30 days → slower Rewards but typically cheaper
10. Allow News Trading
Options:
Yes
No
Effect:
Yes → more opportunities, higher risk
No → safer, avoids volatility
(Note: Always restricted on funded accounts regardless)
11. Choose Leverage
Options:
Up to 1:30
Up to 1:75
Effect:
Higher leverage → larger positions, higher risk
Lower leverage → safer trading
12. Understand the Funded Column (Right Side)
This shows what happens after you pass.
Key points:
Profit Target → Removed (No target once funded)
Drawdown rules → Still apply
Reward split → Active
Reward frequency → Active
News trading → Always restricted
Important: Some settings you choose in the configurator will:
Carry forward to funded
Or be fixed (like no profit target)
13. Review Final Configuration
Before purchase, check:
Step type
Rules selected
Reward conditions
Price
Every change affects:
Difficulty
Risk
Cost
✅ Final Understanding
You are customizing:
Risk (drawdown, leverage)
Difficulty (profit target, consistency, days)
Reward behavior (frequency, split)
The configurator lets you build a challenge that matches your trading style, instead of adjusting yourself to fixed rules.
