Tournaments: Overview

At TradersYard, Trading Tournaments give traders the opportunity to compete against other traders using Futures instruments.

Unlike Challenges, which focus on completing predefined objectives to reach the Funded level (rules here), Tournaments are based on competition and ranking. Your performance is measured against other participants, with rankings based on your trading results.

Each Tournament may have its own rules, duration, entry fee, and prizes. Always check the Rules & Prizes section before joining.

Key Characteristics

  • Competition-based: Participants compete against each other and are ranked based on their trading performance.

  • Futures Trading: Tournaments are based on Futures instruments. The exact instruments available may depend on the specific Tournament.

  • Entry Fee: Tournaments require a small entry fee, which may vary by event. The applicable fee is displayed before you join and helps cover the Futures market data required for participation.

  • Join Anytime: You can join before the Tournament starts or while it is ongoing, where applicable. Joining earlier gives you more time to participate and compete on the leaderboard.

  • Individual Rules & Prizes: Duration, trading conditions, prizes, and other requirements may vary between Tournaments. Check the Rules & Prizes section for the exact conditions.

  • Privacy by Nickname: Your rank and results are displayed under your nickname rather than your real name. You can change your nickname in Profile Settings; otherwise, one is generated automatically.
